Current: Child Sponsorship Program (CSP)
We are conscious about our limitations in terms of resources and time. Child Sponsorship Program is a charitable effort by donors aimed at providing food, clothing, education, tuition, books and medical care to the needy children through the 3rd to the 12th grade. Willing donors sponsors a child in Bangladesh thus becoming a sponsor. The sponsor’s yearly donation of $178.00 (USA), GBP £ 125.00 (UK), CAD $279.00 (Canada) is utilized to support each of sponsored children through ten years of his/her education.
The Optimists has undertaken and implementing its Child Sponsorship Program in the districts of Sylhet, Moulvibazar, Habiganj, Rangpur and NaryanGanj. It has already sponsored 350+ children. Within the first half of 2010 we intend to start operating in fifteen more districts. To know details about the ongoing projects please call or email us for a copy of our latest annual report. Tuition and text-books for qualified poor high school student.
Self-dependence through income-generating training and support for qualified poor families.
Maternity and child welfare program for qualified poor families.
Emergency disaster relief program
Health, Pure Drinking Water, Nutrition & Sanitation Awareness and Support Program for the poor families.
Scholarship and Student loan programs for poor meritorious student for bachelor and master degree.
Computer training for the children of low income families.
